( No surprise, he will attempt to be promoting free speech instead of focusing that these individuals violated FB rules, which is a private company. If FB had done this from the get go, we would not be seeing this mess in the first place. )
President railed against social media companies on Saturday and said he would monitor the censorship of US citizens
Donald Trump criticized social media companies after Facebook banned a number of far-right figures, declaring that he was monitoring and watching, closely!!
The president, who tweeted and retweeted complaints, including complaints from rightwing figures themselves, on Friday and Saturday, said he would monitor the censorship of AMERICAN CITIZENS on social media platforms.
On Saturday, Trump tweeted harsh criticism of mainstream news organizations such as the Washington Post and New York Times, while lashing out against social media platforms for banning the editors of a prominent American conspiracy theory website, Infowars.

(7,432 posts)He routinely violates their Terms of Service agreements, but his power is so pervasive that he is showing that he is ABOVE their rules, just as he is showing that he is ABOVE the Law. His violations of both Facebook and Twitter's TOS are also due to the profit motive. He commands a huge following of "cult of personality" people. Both Zuckerberg and Dorsey shit in their pants when thinking about revenue losses and political haranguing from Trumpy were they to impose their rules on him.

(8,361 posts)Who was he pandering to in 1989 when he spent 85,000 advertising to get the death penalty back in NY for the Central Park rape? He wasn't running for anything. His true colors were all there, but he was rich, a celebrity the media enjoyed.
He was always a racist creep, and I will still never forget CNN holding a live camera on an empty podium waiting for that asshole to show up at the 2016 rally for ratings. What will the freak say today!! They make me sick.

(8,361 posts)Nathan Kohrman graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 2011.
Wilson aspires to equality and inclusion antithetical to our 28th presidents white supremacy. When Woodrow Wilson became president in 1913, his administration resegregated the federal bureaucracy. After 50 years of integration, black clerks could no longer use the same desks, lunchrooms or bathrooms as their white colleagues as wearily shocking then as seeing a Whites Only sign would be today. Wilson also oversaw the mass firing of black civil servants and required photographs attached to applications to federal posts, which enabled hiring discrimination. These policies devastated the Districts black professional class, but Wilson argued they would remove many of the difficulties to black advancement. He told black leaders to respond with the slow pressure of argument instead of political action. One Cabinet member said Wilson wanted segregation with the least friction possible.
