sanctuary cities

i don't have a problem with "sanctuary cities."

local resources must be prioritized, and immigration enforcement is not a priority.

protection of witnesses and victims of crime, and encouraging cooperation of the community, are compelling reasons that a locality might opt out of immigration enforcement.

on the other hand, some immigrants are criminals. are we really protecting violent criminals from deportation?

1. You got a point and DJT agrees with you: keep them all out because of phantom criminals.

Do you REALLY believe that criminals wanting to be here give a shit about sanctuary? Or getting here through refugee programs?

Shame on you.

i tried to ask the question delicately, and obviously failed. i have no problem with the majority of immigrants who are law abiding, and who should be able to report crimes and have normal interactions with police without fear.

but IF a murderer is arrested, and found to be undocumented, should he be released into the community or turned over for deportation?
