I'll Take "Crazy Shit Fundies Say For $200, Alex".

Mark Taylor, the radical right-wing conspiracy theorist and so-called “firefighter prophet” about whom Liberty University made a movie last year, appeared on “The MC Files” program last night, where he asserted that Hurricane Maria, the 2017 storm that devastated Puerto Rico, was man-made and created in order to generate thousands of refugees who would move to the mainland and help “turn Florida blue.”

Taylor, who has repeatedly asserted that the Illuminati creates and controls hurricanes, claimed that “the Lord talked to me about this” and told him that Democrats are doing everything they can to target elections in Florida and Texas.

“What the Lord showed me is that there is a plan in place to try to steal Florida and Texas over to blue,” he said. “Yes, we control the weather a lot of times, guys. We can generate these storms … If you’ll notice, right after the hurricane hit down in Puerto Rico and they had that big scandal with the mayor down there and all that stuff. They were trying to move half a million Puerto Ricans into Florida as a humanitarian effort. Give me a break! It was not a humanitarian effort, guys. That’s why they were holding the food up—that’s why the mayor was holding the food up—so they could justify sending them to Florida.”

“They had plenty of supplies down there, they wouldn’t release them,” Taylor said. “It was because they’re trying to turn Florida blue.”

Uh... Florida was blue in the '08 and '12 elections, Mark. And Florida turning blue would be a good thing!

Why does he have to be an insane nut job too? We have too many of those in this country already.

But who or what that "Lord" actually is is up to interpretation. Voices in his head, demons gaslighting the fool, or maybe his personal Jesus is a wretched asshole - created in His image, as they say. Ultimately, it's our media foisting this garbage on us, as if there was nothing better to report.
