3. The same thing happened with Nixon

Nixon paid practically zero taxes despite millions in income. The backlash caused tax reform which closed loopholes and forced the rich to pay more. We can't do this today because you have too many morans poisoned by idiotic propaganda which tells them the rich not paying taxes is actually good for them. Stupid people have always been around. The GOP just figured out how to weaponize them.

4. There are Always Loopholes for the Wealthy & Connected

One of my “favorites” is the Medicaid waiver. While Republicans have enacted work requirements, drug testing and any other roadblock they can dream up to limit Medicaid access for poor Americans, the wealthy have access to Medicaid waivers which waives their high income so they can access Medicaid services, often for disabilities programs and services for their dependents.
