Instead I am streaming murder mystery and science fiction series. Unfortunately many of those descend into darkness as they progress. But no matter how dark they get they are seldom as evil as the current presidential administration.

I wish I could find a good sitcom for better distraction...

I mute or fast forward thru the parts of the news where he or his flacks speak. Get the skinny here, or from good cable or podcast sources.

Recently I re-viewed the last 2 Tina Fey shows on netflix, Kimmy Schmidt and Great News. I don't have any current suggestions, except for AP Bio with Glen H and Patton Oswald. I'd like to see the latest Broad City season, but it doesn't come available for non-cable subscribers like me for a while.

24. I'm not into stand up so most of the shows you name are not fun for me

Probably because I don't keep track of popular culture much, never have.

I'll catch a little news, sometimes some Rachel Maddow, but I can't deal with much in depth stuff.

These days my husband and I are gearing up for leaving for Britain in July. When we get back, there will be a year for preparing for the election. Then I will have to pay attention, see who the Democratic nominee will be and I will start volunteering. But the next six months are for healing and vacation.
