PREDICTION: Burr will give Donald Jr immunity in return for his testimony

PREDICTION: Burr will give Donald Jr immunity in return for his testimony

There's no reason to trust Don Jr Or Burr or anyone in the KGOP.

It looks like Red Don Jr got the subpoena in April and the KGOP has had to time scheme this out ... and .. Don Jr hasn't set a date to testify before the senate again.

Whatever the end, Don Jr going before the senate is not in benefit of America

Regards

UPDATE: Looks like immunity is VERY VERY hard to do without dems help

From onenote:

A grant of Congressional immunity requires two-thirds of the members of a committee to vote to grant immunity, after which the request for immunity goes to a federal judge, who must issue an order granting immunity. See 18 USC 6005(b)(2).

So unless several Democrats on the Intell Committee support granting Jr. immunity it can't happen.

QUESTION: Is there any other way Burr can help Red Don Jr, I don't believe for a second Burr is doing such for the sake of the country after Mueller let it be known Burr has been disclosing some of the investigation to Trump.

This is important for people to know.

If this weren't the case, a Senate or House majority could easily immunize an Administration of official of the same party.

The Mueller Report, despite LIAR45's fucking bullshit today, really did NOT 'totally exonerate' anybody involved in the TT meeting of June, 2016.

As all of us here, who live in the world of REALITY I'm sure recall, basically what Mueller said was, in so many words, 'although it could be argued that the participants were involved in a violation of Campaign Finance Laws, those particular laws require knowing what you were doing was wrong at the time ... and since it could be expected that said participants would CLAIM to not have known (and we don't have hard evidence at this time to the contrary), it's not really worth bringing a federal case against them for it'.

So the plan here is to give Butthead a platform to publicly proclaim that 'I had NO idea that this meeting could be considered illegal in any way!'

I guarantee you Manafort & Natalia at a bare minimum absolutely knew, but Junior? He may not have. He's pretty fucking stupid.

Because Jr. has been subpoenaed, he has to show up and testify truthfully. There are no "deals" to make for immunity in that situation because immunity is a matter for prosecutors and not Congress unless authorized by a judge after a vote by a committee. If Jr. doesn't comply with the subpoena he could be held in contempt of Congress; Burr could choose not to issue a contempt citation and refer the matter to the DoJ for prosecution (and fat change Trump's stooge AG would prosecute Jr. anyhow), but that's not the same as an immunity deal. If he promised some other deal, e.g., they won't refer him to DoJ for lying the first time in exchange for his testimony, there would be no need for a subpoena.

Or Jr. will only answer carefully scripted questions with carefully scripted responses from the GOP deflecting everything back to the evil Hillary when deemed necessary.

He will claim he does not recall anything of note in response to all questions from Democrats.

so I'd be surprised if they agreed to grant it to Junior.

Trump has access to an unredacted Mueller report and the underlying evidence.

The GOP will let Jr. know their questions in advance.

With the Mueller report & evidence, Jr's lawyers can prepare the script of the opening statement and answers to the GOP Senators questions - already known to them or worked out.

For the Dem Senator's questions, they don't have an unredacted copy of the Mueller report nor the underlying evidence to formulate their questions. When they ask their questions, Jr pleads the 5th if needed.

He's through it largely unscathed and got testimony in to help offset or undermine his chances of a perjury charge.

Table may be set for Barr to decline to prosecute him or for Trump to pardon him, if needed.

I'm sure it isn't to get the truth. Either one he is doing this to try and protect Trump or Burr is doing this to try and save his own behind in the 2020 election. If Burr is doing this for 2020 I'm pretty sure he will make sure Jr. is protected so it will all be for show.
