Then maybe they'll have some minimal understanding of what it is like to be captive to a painful and potentially life-threatening "foreign" mass when one is neither prepared for nor receptive to it

Is this what conservatives like to see, the complete absence of democracy in government, the complete ignoring of all rules of government? This does not have even the semblance of proper legislature. It is a travesty.
