It's a matter of time and patience.

At some time, Former White House Counsel Don McGahn is going to testify before the Congress. When he does, it will breathe new life into the Russia investigation, and put to rest Mitch McConnell's idea that the "case is closed".

The scofflaw in the White House will be brought to justice. He will answer for his crimes against the people of this country. Without the law behind them, his supporters will have very little credibility.

In time, he will be impeached. Whether or not he is convicted will be up to the spineless Republicans in the Senate of the United States. At present, they are clinging desperately to their positions of power, at the expense of our Constitution and the rule of law.

The people of this country may have to wait until November of 2020, but they will have their justice. The scofflaw and his Party will be tossed out of power, along with their disgraceful lack of respect for our laws and our history.

Evil works very fast, they don't look at consequences, they just move forward, this is not a game of patience, Democrats must stop stalling, second guessing themselves, and act fast.

6. Not impeaching Trump is like letting a bank robber* keep the money.

I don't care if the republicans in the senate don't convict him no matter how much evidence**
there is to Trump, his campaign, and the republicans collusion w/Russia. We need to impeach
his ass. Let them (senate republicans) stand shoulder to shoulder with the treasonous bastard.

I don't care how this effects the 2020 presidential race. Impeach his ass.

* BTW the orange dye pack has already exploded all over Trump.

** TRUMP’S RUSSIA COVER-UP BY THE NUMBERS – 251 CONTACTS WITH RUSSIA-LINKED OPERATIVES
https://themoscowproject.org/explainers/trumps-russia-cover-up-by-the-numbers-70-contacts-with-russia-linked-operatives/

The Trump Campaign was told by the FBI to be ready for Russian meddling in the elections and if and when they
try to contact the campaign let the FBI know ASAP and the campaign didn't do that as a matter of fact the gladly
took the Russian help and obstructed justice in trying to cover "it" all up.

8. You understand that impeaching him will be on paper, only?

It should be done, for historical purposes. But it shouldn't be relied on, because it doesn't solve anything. He stays in office.

We know already the Senate won't impeach him. "Case closed," McConnell said. Plus over 2 years of observation of the Senate Republicans = no impeachment. They are party all the way, no matter what. As long as he gives them what they want. And he has, and does. Tax cuts, signing bills they pass, enlarging executive power, ultra conservatives on the S.Ct.....

I think there is a bigger picture after Trump. The question will be asked: "Which side were you on?"

History will be the judge. We are only seeing a small part of the picture at this time, in my opinion.

There is yet a bigger battle to come.

Impeachment is a test.

The hope is that hearts and minds will change by the end of the impeachment process.

If they do not, then we have been divided and splintered beyond repair.

What will history say if the battle is not fought at all?

It's for historical purposes. But it doesn't solve anything. Trump will still be in office, doing what he does.

Impeachment isn't really a test, IMO. We just need the Dems in the House to vote for it. We already know the Senate won't impeach.

I just hope we don't lose seats in the Senate or House over it. The Republicans did after they impeached Clinton, although they maintained the majority.

Even if we lose seats (and we might not), we still have to impeach. If not for these crimes, then what is impeachment for?

We are in uncharted territory. I think our system was devised, never considering that a President would be a foreign agent, having hired an administration of loyalists to him and the foreign country, and that half of Congress would turn to be loyalists, as well.

He'll spend the rest of his life in court, & maybe in jail.

It will ruin him. Justice will prevail.

And trump and the gop attempts to prevent it exposing them is failing badly now. They'll all become fully exposed , and have severe consequences for what they've done , and are presently doing . Its just a matter of time that justice will prevail, and all these criminals will claim they are the victims , especially trump and his family, and be held accountable .
