Did anyone else catch this during Robert Gates interview on FTN?

There was a discussion of the age of Presidential candidates. After discussing the challenges of the office for men in their 70's, he remarked that Reagan was that old during his 2nd term, but he was still a pretty good President.

What?!?!?!? Has he forgotten that Reagan was suffering the onset of Alzheimer's during his 2nd term?

5. Actually, he was having problems in his first term, and, inside DC knew in 1976 there was problems.
