Report Shows Fox News Lies Daily In Newscasts To Viewers


The myth that Fox has a news side and an opinion side was shattered a by a new report documenting the lies that Fox told to their viewers during their “news” segments of their programming.

Here is a smattering of some of the lies pushed as news by Fox anchors:

– Anchor Harris Faulkner claimed Democrats “have gotten” Mueller’s findings “through that four-page report from the AG.”

– Anchor Maria Bartiromo suggested that Democrats don’t support border security because they didn’t vote for three specific proposals

– Anchor Bill Hemmer said the Trump/Russia investigation began with “the original sin” of the “dirty dossier.”

– Chief national correspondent Ed Henry said, “House Democrats already seem to be, at least, encouraging illegal immigrants to vote” through voting and campaign finance reform bill HR 1.”

– Anchor Sandra Smith parroted a highly misleading claim that “Medicare for All” would cost $33 trillion in its first 10 years.

The supposed news side is telling the same lies to viewers that Sean Hannity is spewing at night. Fox is giving the lies news like presentation, but they are still partisan false statements that are designed to misinform and mislead viewers.

Fox’s news reporters were caught in leaked emails discussing how they could defend Trump against Joe Biden. There is no news side and opinion side separation. Propaganda, Trump supporting lies, and partisan misinformation are the backbone of Fox News. Fox could deliver news with conservative analysis, but that is not what the network chooses to do. They use the pretense of news to spread partisan misinformation and misinform the public.

Fox News has nothing to do with journalism and the news. One of the last remaining cover stories for Fox’s propaganda has been exposed, and no American who wants to be accurately informed should give Fox News one second of their time.

As I recall, it was in place until Reagan abolished it via his FCC chief. And he didn't do it out of a sense of First Amendment "fairness," as some wags would have you believe. He did it precisely to allow the RW to create media propaganda vehicles -- like Fox. Reagan was fuzzy-minded about many things in life and politics (evergreen trees emit poisons that cause atmospheric pollution, for example) but he knew his Goebbels and the extreme value of propaganda.

Of course, all networks have a slant of sorts, but only Fox uses the airwaves and cable deliberately to to lie about its (by which I mean the GOP's) political adversaries. And, of course, Fox was joined by AM radio hosts whose one goal is to twist the malleable minds of their listeners with lies, half truths, and innuendos about politicians who are not right-wing enough.

Now, with a big boost from Putin's Russia, the GOP is getting combat ready for 2020.

They'll have someone one one day with a " (r) " after their name. Then a scandal breaks and they'll report widespread outrage over the behavior of a politician with a " (d) " after their name.

Same exact politician, of course.

Once in a while they will broadcast a fact, however, the majority of their broadcasting is lie-based propaganda and infotainment. Actual news is not on their agenda. We need the fairness doctrine back.

pounded into the earholes of 50 mil a week, by multiple sources/blowhards all selling the same shit with different versions - that's where the lies get sold and made acceptable for TV and the cons in media.

and fox cannot be locally coordinated like talk radio can. it just puts blonde perms and block heads on the talk radio propaganda.

if americans want to be rid of fox we need to stop ignoring talk radio. all these studies blaming fox are a distraction/decoy from the real problem. remember, hannity is a bigger liar and racist on his radio show, where he started, doing 3 hrs/day on 500 radio stations.

that's why the trump team studied "1000s of hours of talk radio" in 2014, and that what the kremlin has been using and trolling for probably 10 years at least.
