(23,099 posts)Privacy is enshrined in the FL Constitution, one of the few states with such a provision. The constitution of the state would have to be amended and that takes 2/3 vote which the Repugs will not be able to get. They have tried and tried and tired and failed each time. In fact, even if Roe v Wade is overturned, abortion will still be legal here due to that provision.

(23,099 posts)Every year it's same dumb thing or another - they passed a parental approval law but the courts struck it down due to "privacy". They were able to pass a law allowing pharmacists to refuse to provide Plan B or any type of birth control - so that's fucked up - but my daughter has no problem buying her pills every month and her friend had no issues buying Plan B.
