'Anti-vaxxers' including RFK Jr. rally at Capitol (NYS)
Albany Times-Union
ALBANY — Despite the rain, an energetic crowd of vaccine skeptics and their children gathered in West Capitol Park on Tuesday to rally against government mandates and hear from prominent figures in the anti-vaccination movement, including Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
As the number of measles cases in New York continues to climb and lawmakers scramble to address the public health crisis legislatively, the movement opposing mandatory vaccination is gaining traction across the state. Kennedy, an outspoken environmentalist, has traveled to statehouses across the nation lobbying against vaccination mandates, and promoting the widely discredited notion that the shots are to blame for autism and other conditions. "How can we as a society, as a government, be mandating a product for our children when we can't tell them the risks?" Kennedy told the crowd.

2. We are an increasingly stupid country, and I've lost all hope.
The Dunning-Kruger effect has become a cornerstone of American ideals. You don’t need to listen to those fancy-pants scientists: You know as much, if not more than they do!
So far, this has gotten us Anti-Vaxers, Donald Trump, Q-Anon, Alex Jones truthers. What’s next? Shape-shifting lizards? |

3. RFK Jr is a total idiot.
I saw a program on one of the news stations, he was confronted with all the actual SCIENCE that disproved the autism link to vaccines, what does RFK Jr do?
He lied and said the evidence was "inconclusive." He's a zealot, like ISIS are full of. |

5. Yup. He reads Dworkin also, and thinks outbreaks are "aberrations in actions".
Idiotic zealot, indeed.
