"Madam Speaker, did you bring your handcuffs"?
Washington PostIf Attorney General William P. Barr is worried about being held in contempt of Congress, he didn’t show it Wednesday.
At an event outside the West Front of the Capitol honoring slain law enforcement officers, Barr approached House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), who last week joked about locking up members of the Trump administration in “a jail down in the basement of the Capitol.”
According to a person who witnessed the exchange, Barr shook Pelosi’s hand and said loudly, “Madam Speaker, did you bring your handcuffs?”
Pelosi smiled and responded that the House sergeant at arms was present should it be necessary to arrest anyone, the person said, adding that Barr “chuckled and walked away.

Pelosi is not allowing "shit" to go on with no consequences. Are you sure that you're on the right board?
Trump "throws it" in everyone's face - does that mean he thinks that he's actually winning?
He and Barr are nervous. She's doing her job. Period.
You can try to see it some other way, if you'd like, but that's what happened.
You seem to think that this disrepect was "earned" by Pelosi.
What Barr did was disrespectful. Arrogant. Pure bravado. Almost taunting her. In line with the way all these russiapublican tools have been testifying. Like they can't be touched.

You leaped to quite frankly, a very stupid conclusion. Nowhere in my initial post did I imply anything even remotely close to any Dem having "deserved" Barr's question to Pelosi. So there's no nerve to be touched, no criticism to any Dem to validate.
