A little factoid about the Preakness this weekend.

With no Triple Crown possible this year, we can have fun rooting for a horse for different reasons. There is a Maryland bred horse named Alwaysmining who has had success in his own right, albeit not the Derby. He is a good, strong horse. But the reason I will be rooting for him is his trainer. A woman named Kelly Rubley, who has 35 horses in her charge right now.

(IF I've returned from daughter's baby shower.)

P.S. Saturday is the Full Moon. The next Blue Moon will be on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 5:11 p.m. ET, and it will be of the seasonal variety, because it is the third of four full moons to take place in Spring 2019. As The Almanac reports, this Blue Moon will be a Full Flower Moon.
