Let us not forget
Alabama fought the abolition of slavery.
Alabama fought the end of segregation.
Alabama fought integrating schools.
Alabama fought interracial marriage.
Alabama fought marriage equality.
Now, they fight a woman’s right to choose.
If given the choice today, want to bet they would rip up all the human rights these laws were created to protect? All the way back to 30th January 1865.
Now forgive me if I have got this wrong, but all the laws passed to protect human rights, is part of the rich tapestry on which the USA has become the worlds superpower. Right? It is who America is.
