Nos. 44 and 45 broke the mold. What does that mean for the future of the presidency?

(92,190 posts)This is the mold he is talking about that was broken:
"For more than two centuries, until the election of 2008, American presidents all looked alike. They were white and male and every one of them came to office with experience in the government, military or both. Barack Obama, the first African American president, broke one mold. Donald Trump, who had neither military nor government experience, broke the other."
Unfortunately, I think it is a pay wall, but it has little to do with policy and issue, and more to other factors:

(52,209 posts)Ignoring highly relevant and material differences in order to make a more meaningless assertion that they have done something similar.
Yes Obama was the first black president.
Yes Donald fraud is the first president without government or military experience.
Otherwise, Obama was extremely normal and Donald fraud has committed multiple crimes, multiple impeachable offenses, trampled all over ethical norms, and displayed complete contempt for a majority of America.
But let's ignore all that and focus on the little bit of trivia they have in common.
