(16,104 posts)women will be at the polls in large numbers.
And the vast majority won't be coming out to support the Alabama/Georgia factions.

(73,537 posts)I think a lot of guys will be, too. And for the same reason. My youngest daughter graduated with honors on Saturday. She's 21, and just complete "year six" of college. I'll be damned if anyone is going to tell her how to conduct her health care and life. She will be out there, too, and I think she'll be making a mighty strong impression.

(73,537 posts)An Iroquois chief (old friend of Chief Waterman) did the opening ceremony. As he spoke, two bald eagles started circling above the crowd.
She's majored in psychology and women's studies. I pity the fool who tries to debate her!
for the chief, both the eagles and and the fool who tries to debate her

(9,265 posts)And now 2 granddaughters has me more pro-choice than ever. My girls lives are worth more than 10 million zygotes. Nothing political has ever made me so boiling mad.
Having daughters expanded my consciousness in so many ways. The older one works in a law office on immigration and boxes by evenings and weekends; the younger one just graduated from college. I've trusted their judgement since they were little, and never been disappointed in the least. I'm not open to having jackasses who don't know them, tell them they do not have the absolute right to make decisions for themselves.

(9,265 posts)With her 3rd (and final) kid. She had some issues with the other ones and I tried to talk her out of trying for one more, but she wanted 3. Her husband (good man) said it was 100% her decision. With this one she had gestational diabetes, migraines, and at the end she developed HELPP syndrome which is like pre-eclampsia but more likely to be fatal. At 35 weeks her blood pressure spiked and she delivered a healthy 4.5 lb girl by emergency section.
She did all this because she very much wanted the baby. It is beyond inhumane to FORCE a woman into gestational slavery against her will. It reduces her from a full human being to breeder stock. My daughter, a nurse, agrees. And if it takes my life savings for travel, etc., neither of those 2 little girls will EVER be forced to endure pregnancy if they dont want to.

And for any women who support this attack on women, well theyll just have to live with their rights and as equals!

(7,538 posts)now I believe that the administration has no control over it's party at the state level and that this is simply massive red overreach. This alone should doom the GOP at the polls in 2020. #Talibama #GOTV
