Exposed: A Spammer Fooled MSM & America with Edited NDAA Video

So this is rather embarrassing.

It turns out that the edited NDAA video of Carl Levin that was inaccurately cited in the mainstream media as proof that Obama wanted to detain US citizens was originally posted by a spammer. As we know, the President did not ask for language giving him the right to detain US citizens, he asked for the opposite. But that story wouldn’t get very many clicks for a spammer…..

Thanks to the hard work of several writers, we now know the truth behind the tin foil hat insanity trip of the edited Levin NDAA video that went viral. Congratulations, mainstream media – you got PWNED by a spammer.

I hope this puts an end to this BS and outright lie that's being perpetuated by people here that hate Obama.

It was a really low point.

And the capitalist spammer got what he wanted.

A spammer fooled the MSM?

Imagine that ... someone was able to shoot fish in a barrel. Can't imagine an easier target than what currently passes for 'journalists' in the mainstream media today.

Of course, when it comes to hating Obama and liberals, it's not hard to fool Progressives.

They won't say much today. Some couldn't imagine they were wrong. Some are the usual planted trolls whose numbers grow here exponentially in election years. And just like over at their home at FR, they ignore bad news.

They will interpret this as an attempt to silence their brave truth-tellin' ways, even if in this case, their truth-tellin' was, in fact, outright lie-tellin'. They got pwned utterly, probably by a conservative as per usual, but if you bring it up, then you're practically shipping them to Auschwitz, and besides, they're holding "Obama's feet to the fire," just like the he asked them to anyway, hrmph hrmph hrmph, and why all the celebration about them being wrong here anyway, step away from the computer, and all that.

They literally have no compass that tells them when to shut the fuck up and apologize for their bullshit.

Whether its O'keefe editing up a video to take down acorn, or the NPR president...different audience, same effect. A lie is designed to "go viral", and once its been repeated a few times people believe it implicitly.

Going into a big election year, I'd just advise people to fact-check everything, don't form opinions based on other people's opinions and commentary without looking at their sources. If their sources are other people's opinions, move on. Stay off bandwagons of every sort, and, again, fact-check everything.

.. so President Obama didn't didn't sign into law the NDAA with said clause that allows for indefinite detention?

Great news, thank you.
