2. i really wish we had an alert option of- this person is a troll.

sometimes they are smart enough to skirt the rules and not lose on alerts.
one place where the institutional memory of the mods served us well, but...

it really would be nice to just be able to tag someone for admins.

3. I could not agree more.

I wish there was a direct troll alert button but even an added bullet point in the rules would be helpful. The problem is once they’re passed some very low number of points there’s nothing the MIRT team can do so this would have to go direct to the administrators. We seem to hear very little from the admins so maybe it’s all a pipe dream.

8. i think the trolls have figured out that number.

i see an awful lot of posters just over that number trolling.

the guys have made it hard. in a lot of ways this place has turned into a monster for them to deal w. ok, it always was.
i dont blame them for setting it up to be automatic, and self ruling. but it is a shame that some of our old and smart members dont have a way to help.
but yeah, if you had a button on the alerts that added, this person is a noob, or i think they are a troll, would at least help.

They’re all over political sites and social media. I’m sure there’s a fair amount of Russian trolls on this website too. Their main goal is to divide and conquer and we can’t let them succeed.
