Incompetent? Corrupt? Which is worst trait?

By Michael J. Cozzillio and Craig N. Moore
April 24, 2019

... Trump’s antipathy toward .. diversity has served as an unintentional camouflage of his .. ncompetence and intellectual bankruptcy ...

Trump’s racism, xenophobia, misogyny, and other disreputable traits have led us to disregard his abject lack of smarts and good judgment.

Thus, if he were not so morally, spiritually, and socially challenged, pundits would be asking, as they would of any other world leader, “Does he have a clue about the world around him – its present, past, and future? Does he have the right stuff? Is he big enough for the job?” ...

Let's face it, the Rump casts an enormous shadow that is pretty easy to hide in. Every few weeks I learn a new name or am reminded of someone who is doing evil. The easiest one to finger is Stephen Miller. Sometimes we focus on him for a moment, but who knows the amount of evil he is up to the rest of the time?

The thing is, we will usually catch the incompetent ones, but the truly competent ones will slip through the cracks only to reappear a decade later.

We have dealt with his corrupt ass before.

Yes, Miller is pretty obvious. But Roy Cohn was obvious, slimy and evil. Cohn was around forever. Miller reminds me of Cohn.

My husband thinks Miller looks like a lizard. I don't know what he looks like. He is one of the current faces of evil.

There are many faces of evil surrounding 45. I never imagined that in my lifetime I would see so many evil people gathered in one place and working for a common goal.

I thought about that when I watched the opening of SNL the other night, and laughed along with everyone else. But while I was laughing, I looked at that parody of evil and thought, "What if we can't defeat them? What if it is Springtime for Hitler, where we all laugh and then go about our business as usual?"

You know that most people in this country, even those who do not especially care for trump have no idea what is happening. It is business as usual.
