My (likely unpopular) view: Pelosi is handing Trump masterfully, signaling to anyone listening there is a move towards impeachment (President is engaged in a “cover up”) w/out giving him a sound bite w/the word impeachment he can weaponize. Even more unpopular view: patience.

When Nancy makes the announcement that impeachment proceedings will begin she needs to do it with sorrow and regret. It needs to be clear to as many as possible that there really is no other option. That she did not make this happen, that she is merely bowing to the winds of fortune. Then she needs to go pop the top on a great bottle of Champaign.
