(15,543 posts)You can see how sick and unpatriotic the repubes are now.
Only a five-time Draft-Dodger gets the facts. And he is a notorious serial liar.
Sick republicans are weakening America, and leaving us undefended against real threats.

Generic Other
(29,082 posts)Equals no funding for the military from Congress. Sad that our branches of government must fight each other. Congress has oversight over spending. They are the ones who authorize war. They are entitled to information from any branch of government.
Trump's behavior is petty, illegal and dangerous to our national security. We are in the hands of a madman who is determined to destabilize and destroy us.
gratuitous
(82,849 posts)And it is obvious that Trump can't be reasoned with, that he neither knows nor cares about how government functions and the various interagency communication necessary to running the government. Part of this has been a combination of fear and laziness by government officials (elected and appointed), and partly a failure by Congress for the two years it was run exclusively by Republicans to exercise any oversight whatever.
In just four months of the most gentle oversight, Trump has lost his marbles, and is lashing out like Stalin in his last days. Government officials need to gird their loins and prepare themselves for the worst Trump can do. Yeah, you're going to get dragged by the administration and its sycophantic mouthpieces in the media (Fox). Suck it up and do your jobs, folks.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
