The idiot plans to give farmers 16b paid for by tariffs. The tariffs are paid for by Americans. The rethugs have no problem with this. I guess they are just a bunch of socialists. Which is what I’ve been posting to all their facebook and twitter feeds

And believe me, not only "rethugs" but also virtually all Democratic farmers would have a huge problem with having their farms seized by the state. Whether some would be happy with what the state decided their contribution to production (their labor) was worth (which would be the same as those of people who never owned the farms in the first place) is a question, but not one anyone but them would worry about.

Btw, Social Security is NOT socialized; it's a government managed program, but those involved are privately employed and the medical groups, labs, hospitals, insurance companies, etc., etc., are privately owned and run and take profits. The VA IS socialized, similar to the military; the staff are employed by the state through the VA, the facilities effectively belong to the state, and it is centrally controlled.
