Is Pelosi's plan to push tRump to resign?

She’s building the pressure while the courts are crossing tRump’s red lines, ruling against him at every turn, allowing Congress to get a hold of his financials.

Talk of impeachment is flooding the airwaves. It’s pretty clear that whatever you want to call it, impeachment is basically under way right now. tRump says he won’t do his job as long as the investigations continue, and there is no way a single one of the investigations is going away.

tRump has a very transparent personality disorder, and he is now reduced to a life centered on said disorder. At some point, declaring victory and walking away is what tRump will do, like he always does.

Throughout his entire life, Trump has never been held responsible for his abject failures. Either he was bailed out by his father or his bankers/lawyers or he declared bankruptcy and blamed everyone else.

To this day, I'm firmly confident that Trump believes his bullshit. I really do. I think he has no conscience, self-awareness or empathy. I think he doesn't think he's done anything wrong.

That is the measure of his sickness. That illustrates and explains the damage to his psyche.

The sooner he's gone, the sooner the repairs can begin.

putting additional pressure on him may bring him over the edge. That said, I hope they are prepared for an ultimate blowup from him and I truly hope it does not involve physical harm to others.

“Impeach himself”. The more buttons she pushes...the crazier he gets...she’s deep in his mind.

More and more people are going to demand impeachment more republicans more “no party” people, doing this takes the attention away from the Democrats...using his own game tactics against him...deflection.

This takes away or lessens the power of using impeachment as a weapon in the 2020 elections.

More people need to come over...his crazy actions will push more this way.

I think he channels his mom when he sees Pelosi.

While political junkies like us are way ahead of the curve, large swaths of the country don't know, don't care, and don't have the time to keep up with all the shenanigans in Washington. Pelosi is continuing the spadework, laying the foundation for building the case for impeachment. Trump would like nothing better than to get to it right away when the record is so full of holes that he can concoct all kinds of excuses to raise doubts.

Harping on themes (obstructing justice, covering up, etc.) and talking them up again and again is a page stolen right out of Trump's playbook. Every time Pelosi or another Democrat gets shown talking cover up, a few more people get persuaded. We have a goodly chunk of the electorate on board (just short of 40% from what I've seen), but we need to add about 20 percentage points to those favoring impeachment if we're going to be successful. Another 5-7% each month, and we could be ready to move forward by Labor Day or the autumnal equinox.

In the meantime, enjoy the Republican tantrums and squawks about how horribly unfair all this is, as they watch their popular support wash away like a sand castle at high tide.
