The word has been out for sometime that Donald Trump is a master of projection. But today, he publicly slammed Nancy Pelosi as 'crazy.' He's watched her for a long time, Don the Con said and she's simply 'not the same.'
She's losing it, he said adamantly.
I'm sure mental health people will have plenty to say on the matter. But my God, Donald Trump is so obviously deranged with a gargantuan personality disorder on display every day. And he's getting worse.
Frightening when you think this is an individual who could easily tip us into a disastrous war with Iran. Because Bolton another loose cannon has convinced him it will seal the deal on his reelection prospects.
Welcome to Crazy Land. Hopefully, we find the exits before it's too late.

the great Projectionist.

(10,828 posts)Not only does he project but he cannot help himself with this tit-for-tat mentality. Tillerson was according to reports pretty easy on the Trumpster but he did emphasize that the Donald was woefully underprepared for his Putin meeting in Homburg. That single comment inspired all manner of invectives from Trump. He simply can't help himself. No restraint whatsoever. You criticize Trump or say anything faintly unflattering and Tump becomes the junkyard dog.
A man-baby in the flesh.

(297,205 posts)he thinks he's "perfect".. in reality he's the freaking anti-Christ.
Although it's really not funny with so much on the line.
What a frigging disaster the man is!

(10,828 posts)Counterpunching. Makes it sound reasonable, a defensive behavior against a sudden, unwarranted punch. Donald Trump, the poor victim.
Please!
Similar to the WH press question to Nancy Pelosi: Do you think provoking Trump was smart with infrastructure on the line? Pelosi shot right back with: Though I respect the question, you're buying into the President's excuse that it was my comment.
She was absolutely right. Mulvaney had already said infrastructure was a no-go; they don't want to pay for it. So using Pelosi's comment was a free 'get out of jail' card.
The press is too busy framing what's going on as if both parties are the same and (as you said) Trump were a normal president. He's not. He's more like a Mob Boss.
Ugh!

(111,094 posts)Judging by the way he talks about his political enemies and he is such a projectionist.
What I really don't like is that altered video of Nancy Pelosi, the Deep Fakes that are coming our way. And Trump tweeted that out after its release because Madame Speaker bested him at his own game, made him look the fool.
As far as guilt? I've thought a number of times that Donald Trump exhibits a consciousness of guilt though his behavior and words. He really reminds me of my kids when they were growing up trying to weasel out of something they'd clearly done.
Didn't work then, doesn't work now. He's guilty as sin!

(9,426 posts)"losing it" I think "Too bad HE never had IT to begin with" He was perfect for the gop goals. A person so wrapped up in himself, that Putin and the gop could convince him to do whatever they desired. Now they are stuck with a clown who actually believes he is a "stable genius" The only stable comparison to be made about him is that he is a horse's arse.

(9,983 posts)Just another trick of the light.... He's taken an annoying trait of snotty brats, and gone far beyond any semblence of decency, or common sense.
And that's all it is. The trick never worked for 60% of us - we thought the boy war'nt right since always! But The Base
is so knotted up inside over GUNZ and BAYBEZ and THE WIMMINS that they'll take the evil clone of Carrot Top and Andrew "Dice" Clay as the AzzKickin MachineGun Jeebus They've been praying for, why?
So they can be the kind of ASSHOLE they've always dreampt of being!!!!!!!!!

Malignant narcissism inflating personal disloyalty into "treason"?
Way-over-the-top political affront trying to turn the tables as the defense mechanism of a guilty man-baby?

(5,106 posts)The very moment in that debate when I couldn't believe that any sane adult could ever vote for Trump. His response was on the level of a primary school aged bully, caught out in trying to come back to the smarter kid who stood up to him...and sputtering uselessly.

(11,885 posts)Or doing just listen to his accusations towards others and you'll be closer to the truth. He's telling people what he's up too by this tell of his. When he say's he's a stable smart person he's admitting he's unstable and knows he's stupid too. He projects his insecurity onto others by trying to tell himself this, and displays how corrupt he is. Most con artist do this.
