Mitch McConnell: "Trump's Not Above The Law, It Just Doesn't Apply To Him"

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell told reporters outside the rotunda today that he’s “sick and tired of the Democrats treating President Trump like he’s President Obama.” McConnell said that “obstructing Democrat presidents is the solemn duty of every red-blooded patriotic American.” However, Leader McConnell blasted the investigations currently underway by House Democrats, calling them “dangerous checks and balances” and “wanton accountability.”

“I get the distinct impression my friends across the aisle think that I think President Trump is above the law, and that’s just so wrongheaded I cannot begin to tell you,” McConnell explained. “Sure, he’s denying the Democrats oversight into his administration that I would literally be foaming at the mouth to impeach the previous black administration over, but I don’t think that. No one’s above the law.”

Pausing to sniff some coal he had in his pants pocket, McConnell saw the reporters were confused.

“Trump’s not above the law,” McConnell posited, “it just doesn’t apply to him.”

Senate and house are to help protect the USA from rogue individuals that will hurt and destroy the democracy of this country.

McTurtle and others have put party over the Constitution of the USA.

Republican presidents and administration, etc. are allowed to break the laws and the constitution.

We know if the President other than Republican, he/she would be ousted out of office by now.

Sadly, it's what he really thinks. I can't wait for the next Democratic president because we will all laugh anytime the Republicans talk about oversight.

It's getting impossible to tell the difference between satire and reality. I actually can picture Mitch saying that. I'm pretty sure he thinks it.
