1. That same scenario would apply if it would have been ANY Democratic President.
Obama, Clinton, JFK, etc. Of course, it's A-OKAY if a pub does any of the things Orangeman gets away with. Hypocrisy all the way!
In a way, I get really pissed off at our Dems for acting civil to the Pubs. I want them to tear them some new ones But then I think about more and realize I don't want to be part of a group that is rotten to the core and always lies to win. |

13. They arent mutually exclusive. When we look like pansies, it feeds the Liberal bullshit narrative
that we are soft. We aren't soft. Don't confuse compassion w soft gop.
i find it hard to believe youd really allow us to be steamrollered out of existence as a COUNTRY, simply bc, you are afraid of the appearances. Are you kidding me right now? ![]() Hillary said a while back (I know it's on youtube somewhere bc I watched her say it.), That (I'm paraphrasing) we have to take off the gloves and fight fast and hard and put these folks down, THEN we can go back to being the people we always were. To not do so is to lose by playing too nice when someones got a pillow over your face. It doesn't feel right to behave like that because we are civilized and part of a SOCIETY (hear George Costanza) here, but, they will kill this whole thing if we dont stop them. |

2. Not that future-president Joe Biden would ever take advantage
of it, but he'll have a TON of leeway once he gives Trump the boot. Republicans will have no room to talk after all the despicable behavior they've excused.

5. Republicans have no shame.
They do not care about hypocrisy. They will go right at the next Democratic President as if Trump's administration and their complicity never occurred.
In a normal world (where Fox News and the right wing echo chamber did not exist) you would be 100% correct. Republicans would have no leg to stand on. The problem is that those outlets do exist and Republicans (the leadership and members) live in a fantasy world where they appear to be the good guys. |

6. Their words will ring hollow though. Or more hollow than usual.
Look at the Biden hugging and kissing "scandal". They pretty much kept their mouths shut. Why? Because their party leader grabs them by the pussy.
Trump has hamstrung their propoganda machine, believe it or not. Because it's hard to cast yourself as the party of patriotism, of fiscal responsibility, and of wholesome family-first Christian values, when your party leader is the antithesis of all these things. The vast majority of Americans are not in the Fox News bubble, so they roll their eyes and laugh at these phonies. |

15. Of course. That's the way it's worked for a long time.
Democrats follow the rules, mostly, and Republicans:
Talk with the South Vietnamese and convince them not to do a peace deal, so that Nixon wins and tens of thousands more Americans are killed and maimed. Make a deal with Iran to hang onto the hostages until Reagan is sworn in so that the enemy, Iran is provided with weapons paying for an illegal war or wars in Central America. Impeach a Democratic President for lying about sex outside of marriage, it being the one thing they had proof. Arrange for the Republicans in the Supreme Court to do a one off and proclaim Bush president. Bait the press into thinking Iraq is a threat...Stupid, destructive war. Stop Obama’s judges to the point of holding a Supreme one for a year. And then let Rump do what the fuck he wants to do. That’s what they have done. |
