The "binary" world of Trump's judges...

The decision cannot be fair if it was made by an "Obama judge". The Justice System of Donald Trump cannot operate as a fair and just judicial system. Justice must be "partisan". It is either for Trump or against Trump. In his world, there is no space between them.

"Trump's judges" are expected to exhibit loyalty to their leader. Any idea of justice or fairness must be laid aside.

It is a dangerous and insane proposition that America accepts with this type of "binary" thinking. It is all about power. God help those in the minority opinion.

"My" judges, "my" courts, "my" people, "my" Senate, "my" White House, etc. It simply cannot be accepted.

Where he and only he is the judge, jury, and executioner, or a Department of Trump Justice, like putin has in russia. The GOP are just as bad now backing this traitor to this country, and now are a hate group. He's trying to incite people to protest so he can declare martial law, and bypass Congress , and to unleash his people to hurt protesters, then use Barr to make them criminals for prison with.

The Judiciary is bending over and taking it in the ass for the republican Draft-Dodger-in-Chief?

How is this meeting not a huge scandal? Because shit like this is OK if you are a freaking republican.

on anything that would stop the dictatorship. He and his master will not tolerate that in any way and he will not survive.

This is scary, wonder why no one covered it?

rationalizing anything, making excuses and avoiding responsibility for anything. it's part of the authoritarian psychology - with their irrational need for certainty (thanks to sex on the wrong brain) they're either afraid or needing to accept the artificial certainty that they or authoritarian leaders create with order, control, destruction, absolutism, binary value structures, etc. authoritarian belief systems help them rationalize the denial of reality needed to create certainty where there is none. imo

But I've been here since 2004.

And invariably when there's a really "good" decision, there's somebody who posts who appointed the judge.

And invariably when there's a "bad" decision, there's somebody who posts who appointed the judge.

In both cases, with the assumption that a "good" president (one like us) appoints "good" judges (those who will decide cases like we like, because that's what the law must be made to mean if it doesn't obviously mean that).

And in cases when there's a mismatch, it's either a judge who converted to the True Faith (go us!) or a shock that a "rethug" judge could possibly do something human and moral.

"We need to pack SCOTUS because otherwise it'll be partisan" is really ironic, but irony is lost on the faithful.

It's up to them to write their decisions using solid legal reasoning, with the presumption that if they don't, they'll be seen as partisan hacks.

All judges should see this film. It will make them aware that someday, they may be held accountable if they promote injustice.

I have always criticized the media, politicians and people when the refer to the FBI as "The president's FBI", "The president's DOJ", etc.

These departments ARE NOT HIS, they are the people of the USA's departments. The buffoon is so entitled and so ignorant that he believes that in fact these departments belong to him, these are perks that come with the position, and thus his inability to understand why Sessions recused himself, and why other honest politicians will refuse to do his dirty work.

People, media, etc. need to stop say "His this and that", it empowers those with weak and evil minds.

13. To Republicans, everything is binary
Sun May 26, 2019, 10:37 AM

That's why Fox News is the way it is. Republicans think mainstream journalists are all horribly poisoned by their own biases and that we sit around thinking of ways to destroy them. Thus, they produce their propaganda simply to "balance" things out.

It's the same with science. Those university researchers? Liberals. So we need to create our own "science."

It's how they view the world — one big competition that has no arbiters of reality and truth, only your side versus my side, and God help us if the other sides "wins."

is one in which they are never wrong. The base doesn't like being "wrong" about anything and having to rethink and change. They get to always be right about everything because they can just listen for their instructions from the Orange Ruski. Notice how he is always "right" even in the face of plain facts to the contrary. His staff people go out to the public and do the same thing to prop up the supposition of infallibility. It is a mental health issue in most cases both on the part of the Orange Ruski and his followers. The staff people on the other hand are a mixed bag of mental health issues and egregious sell-outs. Notice how this is like the Limbaugh folks?
