If the Democrats impeach, the Senate does not convict, it may not affect the election like we think.

That's my opinion, I believe Trump has his base and that's it. No matter what happens he will get no new voters. I believe it would have a contrary result. It would hurt Trump and the Republicans.

I believe the Democrats could build such a strong case during impeachment the public would make it difficult for the Republicans to vote against it. I may be wrong but that's how I feel right now.

there are many things he can be impeached on....just pick any day that ends with Y and look it over, there's probably something there.

Emoluments: he's not supposed to profit from being president, and yet, he does. That 100 mil that has been spent on golf outings? How much of that goes directly into his pocket?

And it has to start before 2020 or they'll be screaming about it being in an election year. If it starts before the end of this year, it's ongoing.

I think we ought to throw Trump's mental incapacitation into the impeachment mix. We need to argue that his mental health is an issue and makes him unfit for office.

We've already lived through one Alzheimer's president; we definitely don't need another.

(On a side note, I find it interesting that the two impaired presidents are the very ones the Republicans worship the most.)

Republicans are not going to rush out and vote for Trump after they hear facts they have never heard on FOX News before.

process, the Democratic party will be gravely damaged up and down the slate in 2020.

If the Senate does not convict, incumbent GOP Senators will suffer in the 2020 election.

Agree with you that Trump has a base that will not be swayed.

IMO it is more important to stop subsidizing fundamental Christian impact on voting than messing with Electoral College and maybe even gerrymandering.

This all about getting rid of a sickness that has infected our Democratic Republic and has been ignored far too long.

Barr needs to be impeached and humiliated out of public influence and power as well.

After Nixon, a Democrat was elected president. After Clinton was impeached, a Republican was.
