In place of one of the debates between the democratic nominee and the republican nominee ( Trump ) why not a game of jeopardy!? Alex can host it- questions of constitutional law, THE constitution, world leaders, world issues, domestic issues.
Things ANY presidential candidate should know.
Of course they need a debate on the issues concerning all Americans and their plans and maybe I am just thinking foolish things but maybe if the Trump supporters knew just how stupid he is maybe they wouldn't have voted for him the first time.
I am also for a Gladiator/Titan game type of competition.

(17,615 posts)...in grad school we ran a parenting program and had parents interact with their kids behind a two way mirror. We would feed cues to the parent re: activities, responses to the child..etc. Ive never bought into conspiracy theories until this buffoon came along.
Im still betting theres subliminal messages being flashed across fox news... They were actually used in the 50s but i believe the FCC or someone banned it. But since this group of clowns lives in that era......

(4,178 posts)The debate moderators should ask questions about the candidate's knowledge of constitutional law and historical precedents.
However,I am thinking there will not be debates because trump will not show up.

(63,900 posts)They want a showcase for their idea that "regular" people, e.g. the kind that Trump appeals to, would be turned off of such an inquiry, who like Trump because he is "stupid" the way they are. Now, they may be pitiable or despicable, depending on your political views, but there we have it.

(32,677 posts)minority candidates would be able to decisively beat trump. Because they had to be 5 to 10 times better than average to be where they are now. Just my opinion, of course.

(16,923 posts)to show how ignorant they are.
Look at "Sleepy" (HUD head Ben Carson) and his "Oreo" cookies.
How about Rick Perry (he of the "smart-looking" glasses) - in the debates he claimed he would shut down three cabinet positions, but couldn't remember what three.
But hey, only the best, right?

(15,536 posts)So this wouldn't work. Trump supporters are stupid themselves if they're still supporting him after all we've witnessed. They like to denigrate the "intellectually elite" because they only serve to highlight how stupid they are.
