7. most casino games everyone roots for everyone because everyone is playing against the house

even the dealers root for the players because they get bigger tips when players win.
poker is the one game where you're really playing against other players, so there's some incentive to needle other players and "put them on tilt" so they play poorly. wearing a maga hat and talking politics is one way to do that. i've seen it work, too. mrs. unblock gets into it with them, but i just ignore them and focus on my game. we both do enjoy it when they bust out, though  |
