Anyone here notice how there are more homeless women on the streets now?
Homelessness has always been a problem here, but these days I've noticed there are even more women than ever before. Used to be pretty unusual but now it's so common nobody cares.

1. Yes. I posted a thread last week that my dog and I were attacked by a homeless woman
on our regular 7 am walk.

3. I haven't noticed a demographic shift in the gender of my patients.
The ratio of homeless men to homeless women seems to be relatively stable from my point of view.

4. What I have seen lately is a woman at an intersection,
holding up a sign saying she's pregnant and homeless. I have seen the same sign in the hands of more than one woman. If any of them are indeed pregnant, I hope they get help. Even if they're not, I hope they get help. I donate to several charities but I don't hand out money from the window of my car.
