The US Senate now has a backlog of 100 bills.
As of right now, the Republican-lead US Senate has a backlog of 100 bills that need to be voted on, while the Republicans chastize the Democrat-lead House for wasting time with investigations and not doing their job.

3. It's amazing how much Republicans can get away with.
If Democrats tried this the media would be screaming about it daily!

4. Zero reason for McConnel to bring any bill forward, elections have
consequences.

6. Democratic candidates must campaign in unison over this trolling of The People by Republicans.
Along with their own campaign issues, of course.
Calling out "health care is a right" and "stop the backlog!" at every stop should help our Senate challengers win downticket. |

7. Remember when Obama was first elected?
McConell said the Republican Congress wouldn't pass any of his legislation.
Now he's doing it to the Democratic House. |

11. a rethinking of the rules should be considered,
so that it cannot happen again. depriving the people of a functional government should never be a viable political strategy.

13. What rules? They are in the majority...
The voters who put them there apparently want them to act like this...that is the scary part.

14. Do Nothing repugs. Lazy, proudly refuse to do their jobs.
That's what happens when they're in the majority. Gingrich do nothing congress, Ryan do nothing congress, McConnell do nothing senate. Racking up records for least productive, most days off.
Then they call American workers and citizens lazy. |
