Former Prime Minister Edward Philip George Seaga has died.

Born on May 28, 1930, Mr. Seaga died on his 89th birthday, at 1 o'clock.

He was the fifth Prime Minister of Jamaica, serving from 1980 to 1989, and was the leader of the Jamaica Labour Party from 1974 to 2005.

He served as Leader of the Opposition from 1974 to 1980, and again from 1989 until January 2005.

That book had several problems starting with the author's ignorance on Jamaican history or the numbers of guns in Jamaica at that time.
