House Democrats can officially stop wasting time on Mueller

His work is done.

If you believe Pelosi just wants to run out the clock on impeachment, which I do, he’s saying don’t waste your time on me, what I have to say is in the report, PLUS, in case you didn’t understand what we said in writing: “If we had confidence that the president clearly did not commit a crime, we would have said so.”

So what we have here is a report that was delivered in late March, followed by two months of Democratic leadership saying we need to hear from Mueller and a statement today that basically amounts to

a) no you don’t, what I have to say is in the report,

b) we did not exonerate the President on obstruction; if there was no crime we would have said so and

c) the Constitution requires a process other than through the criminal justice system to find a president guilty of a crime.

That’s called impeachment. Your move, Speaker Pelosi.

House to begin Impeachment in earnest. Not sure what Mueller saying it again does, but maybe some folks will take notice.

It now becomes more risky to subpoena Mueller, given his signaling that the guide to what's impeachable is already in the report.

Public opinion is one our side now! Waiting for another smoking gun before moving forward may backfire.

It's on - we either constitutional processes to address a rogue presidency or face the graver consequences of inaction.

committees keep on investigating until the election next year, and leave it up to the electorate. By then who even knows what kind of government/country we will have.

They need to get the inquiry moving.

He’s not saying he won’t do it, but he would not add anything to what has been written.

There are hundreds of rational questions about the report that need to be answered RIGHT NOW if we're still vulnerable.

I'm not totally done with Mueller but I'm damn close.

If we choose to act. Flogging Mueller for more at this point smacks of a delaying tactic more than anything else.

People will watch the movie or TV show, but not read the book.

Just having Mueller on the stand reading excerpts from the report will reach an audience probably 100 times bigger than the audience that read the report or listened to the audiobook.

When the House starts the inquires it's possible this will be discovered. The rethugs plan is to STRETCH this out but time will run out on them i feel. Wonder if Mueller will testify as to HOW this all ended? I almost feel we should start with BARR! WE WILL WIN THIS!
