While people are yelling for impeachment, Nancy Pelosi is talking about . . .
House Democrats’ accomplishments, and this is what will help Democrats win big in 2020. #BlueWave2020

2. A balanced approach is good.
They should certainly highlight the accomplishments and discuss the plans they have for the nation if provided the opportunity for full control of the government.
They also need to continue with the oversight duties up to and including Impeachment. Trump has to be held accountable. I think they can do both. |

aka Mitch McConnell's Senate.
Awesome. |

9. Yes, we keep passing bills so that Jefferson Davis, I mean, Mitch McConnell can ignore them
While he continues packing the courts with unqualified right-wing apparatchiks.

10. All those bills will show voters what we can have
if the Republican-dominated Senate turns to a Democratic majority. They are great talking points for our candidates in the coming elections.

11. I agree, but they are no substitute for asserting our power
We can keep passing them without passing the buck on holding a criminal fully accountable.

7. I don't have a problem with that at all
The impeachment or bust crowd needs to be patient. (I was one of them!)
The Dems can chew and walk at the same time. |

8. I'm glad that Nancy is the Adult In Charge during this time.
I trust her to oversee investigations and fight to have house subpoenas honored besides advancing legislation that the senate can stonewall. Don'tcha know that investigation and subpoenas will lead directly to impeachment? In politics and comedy timing is everything! AND winning in 2020 is a good backup plan for the impeachment process.

15. They could pass a million bills and it would still
not do a single thing for anyone due to the simple fact that the Senate Majority Leader has ultimate veto power over all legislation.
Nothing will ever see the light of day unless he's on board with it. |

17. It's all about 2020
Pelosi's strategy is to show the public that Democrats get things done, and if we had the presidency and the Senate then good things would happen in America.
That's why she's not focusing on impeachment. Americans are upset about healthcare and corruption and many other things the GOP is doing or not doing, and she knows that. |

enabling more of that isn't a great strategy either.

16. Apparently 75% of the party want impeachment and nancy is the gate keeper.
She supposed to be this master strategist , a force to be reckoned with a master manipulator yet she needs time to get her people on board? Sounds like an excuse to slow walk the impeachment
Passing bills is fine but they just gonna die in the senate . The party wants impeachment ... you've stalled enough |
