I fully expect Barr to call a press conference tomorrow.
The damage of what Mueller said today, while slowly being realized by many can’t be allowed to grow without official condemnation.
It won’t work. But he has no choice. He has lost the narrative.

1. As I said in a separate thread, what Mueller SPOKE today caused a political earthquake...
...DESPITE the fact that all he did was REPEAT, VERBATIM, what he WROTE in his report. And it's having 1000 times the effect of the written report.
This is living proof that they HAVE to get him to testify. He claimed he wouldn't testify to anything that wasn't already in the report. But that's exactly what we WANT him to do! And as for Bullfrog Barr holding a press conference...I'm not sure he will. I'm not sure he'll want to draw attention to the SECOND provable instance of him lying under oath. He testified that the DOJ memo/policy against indicting a sitting President was NOT the reason Mueller didn't indict Trump. Mueller just said the opposite. So, he lied twice under oath. Once when he obfuscated about not knowing anything about 'Mueller's team' being upset about his summary. And once about Mueller's failure to indict Trump had nothing to do with the DOJ policy against indicting a sitting President. If Barr holds a press conference, that's the first thing any REAL reporters that are around will ask about. |

2. I fully expect traitortrump has already ordered traitorbarr to call a
press conference, probably tomorrow - and vehemently warned barr not to foulup the press angle like barr fkdup the barr Mueller report release.
However, the continued flow of trump adverse information will continue to flow. Already on deck, is the apparent Andrew Miller flip. [Courtesy of Empty Wheel. Possibly related to the timing of Mueller's statement today]. |

5. Mueller did not say he trusted Barr
He said Barr's decision to release most of the Mueller report to the public was in good faith. In other words the other stuff Barr did was NOT in good faith.
