(62,444 posts)It seems that he provided "one" voicemail recording, so is there something I'm missing in your statement that there are multiple such recordings?
Is there some other document which refers to more than one voicemail?
berni_mccoy
(23,018 posts)I should have included that in the OP.

(62,444 posts)The order is to "the 'voicemail recording'" singular, and to "any" other recordings. "Any" is open-ended as to existence.

(10,207 posts)what with the Senate in the grips of mass traitor-ism. But with this being such blatant evidence of Trump and his congressman cohorts running a criminal enterprise, something has to be done to attempt to stop them.
But what about just bringing charges and indicting Traitor Trump. This BS that you can't indict a sitting president is just BS, and if the Supremes uphold the BS, we are no worse off than we are now.

(43,198 posts)Lead by Bill Barr.
Private citizens, or even Congress, can't just bring criminal charges on their own.
Now, there are state Attorneys General who I guess could play the game and try to indict Trump on state charges (I'm looking at you, New York.) That would probably end up in the courts.
Farmer-Rick
(10,207 posts)I thought Congress could indict aside from an impeachment.
I see, he would have to be charged under state laws. I guess the courts would throw it back to the feds if they brought up federal crimes. Then we are back to Barr.
Seems the RepubliCONS have out maneuvered their own laws...just for Trump and all the rich capitalist.

Mike Flynn is Person A and Flynn "Intelligence" is Company A and you should read this excerpt from the superseding indictment of Flynn's co-conspirators, Kian & Alptekin:
and this:
"Sullivan also ordered that still-redacted portions of the Mueller report that relate to Flynn be given to the court and made public."
and then the superseding indictment with the additional details of Flynn's treason-with-turkey in paragraph 57 was filed 5/23/19.
Expect more bombshells.
.
"The transcripts, which the judge ordered be posted on a court website by May 31, would reveal conversations at the center of two major avenues of special counsel Robert S. Mueller IIIs investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election."
May 31 is Friday .
"The government is FURTHER ORDERED to file on the public docket in this case by no later than May 31, 2019 an unredacted version of those portions of the report that relate to Mr. Flynn. Signed by Judge Emmet G. Sullivan on 5/16/2019. (lcegs3) (Entered: 05/16/2019)"

(2,002 posts)Haven't Guliani and Sekulow already argued that there is nothing illegal about telling people to not cooperate with Mueller or to lie to Congress? Why would this change anything?

(7,919 posts)rather than repeated and emphatic commands or threats. Flynn has characterized the interactions as direct instructions from the administration or its proxies. A single instance might be legally debatable but a series of similar contacts form a pattern. It seems unlikely that anyone would risk influencing Flynn without considerable cause of their own or direction from above, as it were.
Assuming the evidence makes either condition clear it would seem that there may be a larger pattern of obstruction indicated. IMO Friday will be a very long day for someone if not several of them.

(14,537 posts)Just before trump took office, Obama was going to OK a plan to combat ISIS. Turkey was not in favor of arming Syrians. Out of respect he asked trump's team to ok it. Flynn gave a resounding no. Come to find out Flynn was an unregistered agent of Turkey at that time.
After Flynn was out at the white house, a version of the plan was okayed. Which has helped diminish ISIS in the region, lessening their global terrorism threat.

Administration: Could be anybody but Pence would be delightful, as in hello Madame President Pelosi.
Congress: My guess is Nunes or Graham but wouldn't it be something if McConnell got himself fixed to the flypaper?
