Zachary Taylor (was only POTUS from March 4, 1849 July 9, 1850)
Benjamin Harrison
William Howard Taft
Warren G. Harding (horridly corrupt)

(66,352 posts)in the naming of aircraft carriers, currently most often named for U.S. Presidents.
I sure as hell don't ever want a carrier named for GWB or Trump. So my proposal would be to discontinue naming carriers for U.S. Presidents, and to start a program to name new carriers after the states of the Union. The way they used to for battleships. Since we don't use battleships anymore, this would be a good way to continue to commemorate the states through their use as ship names.
A couple of provisos:
1. The naming would begin with each state's entry into the Union. So the carrier U.S.S. Delaware would be first, and the U.S.S. Hawaii would be last.
2. The state names Arizona and Utah would be omitted from the list, to honor the two ships sunk at Pearl Harbor on December 7th, 1941.

When I was little we had a coal furnace . We had a coal bin in the basement. My dad had to go down twice a day to shovel the coal in. What I remember was how dirty it was. It just got onto everything.
