Investigate Trump's 'Criminal Activity' So Everyone Knows He's a Criminal

It's a matter of branding: let's call Trump a criminal and make sure all of America knows about his crimes.

After that, it's impeachment time.

MSNBC’s Donny Deutsch suggested an idea to change the conversation about impeachment, and force President Donald Trump to prove he’s not a criminal.

The “Morning Joe” contributor and former advertising executive suggested Democrats should stop talking about impeachment, which is a loaded term that carries political risks, and tell the public they’re investigating Trump’s criminal activity.

“We know Trump broke the law,” Deutsch said. “Here’s the answer, you take it from a binary choice of two lanes, you create a third lane. You take the word impeachment, and you change it to criminal activity.”

Deutsch said Democrats should tell voters that Trump clearly obstructed justice, based on special counsel Robert Mueller’s report, and was named an unindicted co-conspirator by prosecutors in the Michael Cohen case, and continue investigating those violations.

“We are going to initiate and continue the ongoing Trump criminal investigations — Trump criminal, Trump criminal investigations,” Deutsch said. “Take the word impeachment away — it’s a losing word, it’s a 30-year-old word that does not help us. Change the discussion. Even Trump says it’s a disgusting word. It’s a disgusting word for Democrats.”

1. I heard him this morning and agreed it was a great idea. He got a lot of negative feedback from the

panel, mostly people who want impeachment. He's a smart guy, people should listen to him, "Criminal Investigation" will get more traction than Impeachment, I think..

Deutsch and Michael Cohen are old friends. Deutsch reported Cohen held back a lot of inciminating information on his activities with Trump, mostly to avoid further self-incimination and jail time, and probably out of fear of reprisals from the Russian Brighton Beach mob if he said too much. Having listened to Cohen's war stories over the years, Deutsch knows full well Trump is a "criminal."

3. Everyone already knows he's a criminal,

but for Trump "true believers" and their fellow travelers, it just doesn't matter - they'll choose insidious, toxic political faction over fidelity to truth and justice. Patriotism notwithstanding, these are corrupt, venal people who have no honor, no decency, no sense of fair play; they co-opt the symbols of our country and pervert them into sick misrepresentations.

Red flags all over the place.... they chose to ignore it for the simple love of (R) over anything, including country and civility?

The levels of stupidity and arrogant ignorance is astounding, but doesn't make it any less incorrect and those pushing it should be held accountable!

Some act like they are prepared to shoot or be shot, like a civil war with our neighbors would be swift and simple, the amount of guns in private hands is
