chamber of commerce considering suing white house over tariffs (taxes)

according the cnbc -- tv, no link.

when a republican has lost the chamber of commerce, you'd think they'd be toast.

at some point it becomes baffling how he keeps his real power base. how are the billionaires ok with all his random tax on trade crap?

The problem is it will take a long time and could end up in courts deciding he has the power to do it. Even though he's clearly abusing his power.

In the meantime a lot of damage is getting done to our businesses and consumers.

The quicker and better solution would be for the CEO business community to call Trump's Republican enablers and tell them their campaign money is stopping until they stop playing lackey to him and reign him in.

All this dictatorial shit will continue to go on and on until the Republicans stop enabling him.

I'd bet that CEOs and leaders of the business community HAVE tried to influence Trump away from using tariffs and it failed. Now they are just threatening a law suit - but I bet that will fail, too.

Trump knows that law suits take years, especially the way he has always denied, delayed, and obfuscated. But remember, he seldom if ever wins a law suit. Usually when it is clear he will lose, he settles with a non-disclosure agreement so no one can find out the truth.

Just fuck them. From citizens united, to Gorsuch, to Kavanaugh, to McConnell, to Cruz, to Donnie Shit for Brains...these fucking pricks have done nothing but try to fulfill their Ayn Randian fantasy dystopia.

I don't even have thoughts and fucking prayers to send to these asspickles.
