So all we can do is act honorably in the moment---removing flag was both dangerous and admirable. "What are the repercussions" is another discussion, with the answer "predicting the future is an imperfect science".

I recycled a pickup truck full of California Proposition H8 yard signs, mostly that I picked up free for the taking from Catholic and Mormon groups.



One of my kids was far more bad ass than me. He'd knock on people's doors and tell them their Prop H8 signs were not Christian and ask if he could take them down.

Nine out of ten people agreed.

Years later those same people probably voted for Trump, but they would have done that anyways.

There was a PU truck at a local restaurant I frequent for breakfast with a dozen tRump and NRA stickers on the tail gate. I added a sticker the said "Looser." It was there for weeks before the jerk notices it and took off.
