Spanky's "feelings" for Mike Flynn

I heard about/read the transcript of Dowd's call to Flynn's lawyers, mentioning that Donny Two-Scoops has feelings and they're directed at someone (quelle surprise), namely Flynn. Even though Flynn is a criminal, he's still a military guy and I am gobsmacked that Flynn thinks much of a draft dodging p.o.s. like Two Scoops. But I am even more surprised by Spanky's affection for Flynn. My question is: why?

Has anybody here read or heard why these two became friends and for how long?

PS- even though I typed the words Two-Scoops has "feelings" for Flynn, I still dont believe it.

1. My take is,

the Legal Staff for the White House is offering a Balloon or Blanket Pardon that is in place for all the Conspiritor's and the Flynn Call was the tip off. Mueller did not get much cooperation from all those people he and his staff interviewed. Time and time again,the blanket pardon thing kept being mentioned by investigative reporters.
