Clark was suspended without pay and reassigned in 2013 after referring to students at Western Hills High School as Little Mexico and white bread.
During the 2013-14 school year, Clark worked at Western Hills High School as a reading teacher, but was recommended for termination by a review committee after she was accused of using racist language toward students. She was kept by the district after the United Educators Association helped her find a resolution with the district, the records state.
Eighteen student witnesses made statements in that case. A co-worker on campus also told the district Clark used racist language when referring to students. That internal review began Nov. 7, 2013, and closed on Jan. 3, 2014.
In November 2013, Clark was accused of calling a group of Hispanic students Little Mexico. She also reportedly called a Caucasian student white bread, and separated the class by race, according to the reports.
The Mexicans on one side and the white and black people on another side, one student told the districts Office of Professional Standards in 2013. She had told the Mexicans that (theyre) Mexico and that the white and blacks are America.

she'd find some end-around method to tip off ICE about the illegals in her own classroom...
(since it technically isn't legal for her to do it directly)

(12,827 posts)Lots of this in Texas schools. I was recruiting in a Texas high school once, when a woman came up to me with her daughter. She sat down and said "Oklahoma is pretty much a white state right?" I said I didn't quite know what she meant, she continued saying "I don't want my daughter in class with them". So I did the first thing I could think of. I said "you might want to look into a Christian school down here in Texas I hear most of them are pretty white". She got pissed, grabbed her daughter by the hand and stormed off. I emailed my Dean about the altercation and told him what I said, he emailed me back "I have your back".

(82,849 posts)It's just so odd that all these racists and bigots seem to find a kindred spirit in the not-racist-at-all-just-ask-Jared person of Donald J. Trump. But, since this is the Washington Post, they may tut-tut the teacher's appeal to Trump, but because we knew or should have known that Trump is a bigot and he was elected anyway, there's no way Fred Hiatt's editorial page will say anything negative about Trump.

... Mr. President, Fort Worth Independent School District is loaded with illegal students from Mexico, Clark wrote May 17, on her now-deleted Twitter account, @Rebecca1939, The Washington Post reports. Anything you can do to remove the illegals from Fort Worth would be greatly appreciated, she wrote in another tweet.
Clark, not realizing that she was showing her inner Make America Great Again hat, asked that her identity not be revealed so that she could be protected when the action was taken.
Texas will not protect whistle blowers. The Mexicans refuse to honor our flag, she wrote ...
According to the Post, Clarks tweets were being investigated as inappropriate behavior in violation of district regulations. She was placed on administrative leave with pay on May 29, two days before the last day of school ...

JUNE 04, 2019 12:58 PM, UPDATED 2 HOURS 19 MINUTES AGO
... Tuesday night brings one of the easiest calls the Fort Worth school board will face: The trustees should fire teacher Georgia Clark ...
... because district investigations have documented a history of racially charged comments, trustees are justified in terminating Clark ...
... Teachers have First Amendment rights like anyone else, and they shouldnt be punished for expressing mainstream opinions, even ones that might be unpopular in their communities.
But Clarks behavior has gone far beyond that. Her comments betray not just bias against many of the students on her campus, where Hispanics make up nearly 90 percent of those enrolled, but ignorance about the schools and teachers roles in ensuring that all children get the education they deserve.
No matter how frustrated you are .. dont take it out on kids ...

Its disappointing, the sheer lack of intelligence in our American population.
