'Nazi scum': Protesters mob, 'milkshake' Trump supporter in London
A group protesting President Trump's state visit in London surrounded a supporter of the U.S. president, calling him “Nazi scum” while one protester hit him with a milkshake.
The crowd of demonstrators shoved and jeered at the Trump supporter after the man threw what remained of the milkshake back at the original offender, according to the Independent. The man appeared to be escorted by a lone policewoman who was no match for the mob surrounding her.
After the shoving started, others in the crowd began separating the Trump supporter from the more radical protesters. The man eventually escaped the mob through a mixture of shoves and others pulling him to safety.
Protesters have been demonstrating against Trump since he arrived in the country on Monday. The demonstrations have largely stayed in Parliament Square and have not significantly affected the U.S. delegation's activities with British leaders.
