My next trip to Ireland, I will certainly be bypassing Doonbeg

The village of Doonbeg in County Clare has erected US flags and plans to cheer if the president speaks to them
The 262 people live in a village with a douche golf course
According to one local, Sean O' Donnell, "Trump is a straight shooter." and "Tells it like it is."
I think he forgot the -n't after is

Change the name of the town to Gasbag

Shannon Airport was in a lather of stress and excitement before and during president Trump’s visit. He met the Taoiseach in the Burren Suite, where a large picture of John F Kennedy usually hangs on the wall of the entrance corridor. On Wednesday, three large photographs were on the wall as Trump passed. Former president Ronald Reagan arriving at Shannon, the current US vice-president Mike Pence arriving at Shannon and Donald Trump, arriving at Shannon.

Doonbeg is most definitely the exception. We've driven right past Trump's golf club a number of times and never really even noticed the town.

Donegal is amazing, remote and unspoiled. Have a wonderful trip!

I noticed a difference everyone in the country is so friendly and helpful even if I don’t ask. Like stopping to pick me up on way to my B and B because I stopped to rest.

I have had many ask me about Trump or make comments. None seem to like him but all seem to think he will win again, that is scary. They understand our country and how it’s not the popular vote that wins. Amazing how people actually pay attention to how countries are run.

One lady told me his sons went to local pub and bought everyone drinks, I said oh you mean dumb and dumber? Wow couldn’t believe I said that, lack of sleep and all. I said pic of them on safari lost me for life.

Donegal has the Slieve League cliffs, some of the highest in Europe (but the road to them can be...scary; be careful if driving!)
A summer in Ireland...sigh. We only managed a couple of weeks the two times we've been! Slainte!

to spot a phony, rich bullshitter a mile away. I can't understand why they are catering to this disgusting, family of grifters when they represent everything that Irish culture seems to abhor.

I can see that they may be grateful for the jobs they now have, but they don't have to go out of their way to kiss insincere, pretentious asses. How disappointing!

They didn’t seem to know about his sons thought they were nice to buy drinks in a pub.

Most seem to think we live in a society of reality show popularity and that got him votes.
