The menu our POTUS and FLOTUS served Prince Charles tonight. (ugly font!) (Original Post) Grasswire2 Jun 2019 OP

This is an example of what the Beverley Hiilbillies think will impress real, old money, society scions. The florid and ostentatious font is overwrought and pretentious, and was probably his second choice behind Old English in all caps.

Trump added a presidential seal in gold to remind everyone that's what he is. But the masterstroke of sheer genius is the hilariously frilly golden bow that would be more at home on an invitation to sleep over for a bumch of preteen girls than the distinguishef heads of state.

After being served 1990 Chateau Lafitte Rothschilds the night before ...

I mean, $54/btl Iron Horse is nice wine, but COME ON ...

I really hope there was some much better, red wine listed later ... cause it's Beef and all ...

On Edit ... I see they went with Iron Horse Pinot ... another roughly $50/bottle wine. And that's at full retail ... you can likely get it at $35 if you buy a case is my guess.

I mean, I'd be proud to serve these wines to MY guests, but I make 5 figures, and my guests wouldn't be friggin ROYALTY.

Well, I'd probably go with Silver Oak or Sterling Reserve for the Red, and Rombauer for the Chardonnay, cause their's is EXCELLENT for the money ... but the higher-end Iron Horse is worthy as well.
