than Obama's few policies. STOP the GOP lies in their tracks.
Please use these charts to counter the GOP lie machine blaming Obama's policies on spending.
"Since President Obama became chief executive, the national debt has risen almost $5 trillion. But how much of that was because of policies passed by Obama, and how much was caused by the financial crisis, the continuation of past policies and other effects? For this analysis, we worked with the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities to attach a price tag to the legislation passed by Obama and his predecessor. George W. Bushs major policies increased the debt by more than $5 trillion during his presidency. Obama has increased the debt by less than $1 trillion."

(6,228 posts)Sorry, I don't buy it. Outside of healthcare, Obama has been a complete wimp when dealing with the thugs in Congress. He is the lesser of 2 evils this November, but I am not happy with him running to the right.

(397 posts)That I am voting for the more fiscally conservative candidate, Obama. These people really don't get it. Its almost like they think when a new President is elected, all the meters are reset back to zero. They really think Obama has personally added 5 trillion to the debt with his policies.
