I have read almost all of the books by Republicans who hate/disagree with Trump and so many of them still dis the democrats. Nicole does not. She often says on her show she will vote for any democrat or their car or bus if she has to in 2020. I've never heard her take a cheap shot at a dem.

She also has smart guests and as was mentioned up thread, lets them talk.

Watch Game Change. Her character is great in that movie. (Spoiler alert: she hates Palin).

The only other Republican who I've not heard trash Dems since they started dissing Trump and republicans in Max Boot. His book is the best because of that IMHO.

Finally, I want to add that some Republicans stay on our side once they become pissed at their party. My Dad was the only republican in our extended family and took a ton of shit for it over the years (good natured, we loved him after all, he was a great guy) but he had a beef with Reagan, left the GOP and ended up further left than any of us. And stayed there for 20 years. It can happen.

I kept the TV on after Nicole’s show, and he just tried to skewer Joe Biden’s representative by asking the same question over and over. She smiled and handled it well by refusing to play his game, but it was obvious that he was trying to make a big deal about Biden’s change on the Hyde Amendment—as if people aren’t allowed to change their stances when circumstances change as they have with the many clinics that red states have closed over the past couple of years. Then he moved onto partial birth abortion. There is no such term in the medical community! An intact removal of the fetus is done to avoid possible damage to the woman. I turned the TV off when he started talking about whether Biden had any red lines and would he support third trimester abortions, another Republican myth because such abortions are not whims. They are for the health or life of the mother or because the fetus has severe abnormalities and cannot sustain life.

No MSNBC host should be spreading Republican lies. MSNBC needs to find a better substitute host. He’s a disaster and I won’t watch him.
