They are representative of the cancerous Republican Party that is eating the soul of the nation. Left to their design they will turn the presidency into a virtual dictatorship. I am not convinced that if Trump is beaten that he will peacefully leave office and not incite armed rebellion.

The damage that he has done to the very soul of the nation will not be easily repaired especially when the over whelming majority of his treasonous party is in lockstep agreement with their beloved hopeless immoral fuhrer. Their message is the message of division and hatred that has destroyed any hope of constructive compromise. At the present time, I don't have any confidence that any semblance of the unity of the nation can be restored.

Our government may very have succumbed to a cancer that will bring about its internal destruction as any hope of unity is hopeless dissipated resulting in stagnation and eventual demise by default. Democracies are fragile structures unlike iron fisted dictatorships and rely solely on the will of the people to arrive at join agreement through peaceful discussion. It appears that at the present time what Obama sought to restore in government may beyond repair. The Republicans are adamant; No compromise, period. Something very dramatic must happen to halt what appears to be death spiral or the consequences could be tragic.
